1940 Bulova Ranger, (noting dial modification). We have several watches like this that have been identified as Ranger, THIS is Plainsman's.

Muito obrigado Geoff pelo seu comentário. Vamos então considerar um 1940 Bulova Ranger (com mostrador modificado).

Plainsmans Watch, linked by Mr Baker appear to be mis-identified imo

As pointed out by Merc the ad for the 'RANGER' does not show a partial 6 numeral below the sub-dial, both the linked watch and the subject show a partial 6 numeral below the sub-dial matching the 1938 'ALEXANDER' ad.

I don't know which model it is yet, but since I've seen this one and another one with the same dial configuration, I don't think it has a dial modification. The other one is on a site that has everything copyrighted so I'm not going to post a photo of it, but if you're interested in taking a look at it message me and I will send you the link to it.

From The Wilmington Morning Star. May 30, 1941. Unfortunately, no model name.

The watch does not match the ad for the 'RANGER'
