Vintage Bulova information sharing

Can you believe these prices for a 14K White Gold Diamond Watch Band:

6 Diamond band - 34.95

10 Diamond band - 59.50

32 Diamond band - 99.00

I have several of these on some of my watches and had no idea of the prices back then.

I have had these two cases, could they be some type of Salesman's Case too?

They are a green reptile leathette covered with slots for watches. One has blue watch holders and the other one has tan. The boxes are about 8.5 x 7.5 x 3.

Hi,  This is a case I picked up.  It is small around 8x6".  The insert looks like it was added after the fact and is a cut down ring holder I think.  I plan on getting a jewelry tray and cutting it down to fit and putting a few special watches in it.  

What do you think it was used for?  Anyone seen one like this?  What era do you think?
