Vintage Bulova information sharing

Hi guys,

I've recently bought this 666 feet Snorkel from 1960 decade (35mm), but looking for information on the web, I noticed that there are many variations.

In particular, the my Sonrkel seems does not have tritium indexes (they seems of white enamel), it does not have the BULOVA logo applied, but just stamped and the bezel is fixed.

I ran across a watch that has an Alecoultre watch movement with 15J, 3 adj in a American Standard Watch case #1612468, 19K 1/12 RGP. It looks like a old Bulova but you can see that the Bulova Quality has been marked over the Standard in the case. Did Bulova ever use that movement in thier watchs?

This is an American Girl Repair Kit #26.  I thought I would share in case any other members run across one and would like to know what is in it.  With my interest in the AG line I thought it would be worth picking up for repairs.  According to the 1955 repair digest they were for all AG watches.

Found this interesting newspaper article from June 1960 regarding a man losing a $60K Bulova battery operated prototype.  I assume this was an early Accutron that would be released later in the year.   Funny how they used mine detectors to find it.  

I hope this is the right place to post this? I thought someone might be interested to see this...

I thought for the first time I would try my hand at creating something unique using all 100% Bulova Accutron 214 factory parts, Nothing has been repainted or altered with the exception of the bezel which had the lugs removed...

I have anusually looking Bulova watch  with a weird logo -I'v never seen that kind of logo on Bulova watch. The clocwork  mechanism is typical   11ACAC

I would like to know if anyone hase ever seen this kind of watch with thas kind of logo ?

Hello all.

I found this one on ebay recently. After looking through the pictured models and ads I believe its a 1953 Thayer. I don't think anyone actually had a pic of one of these. I know there is a 50 duo wind and a 52.

It occasionally will run,even when wound, so I'm sure it will need a repair in addition to a good cleaning.

I'm also not sure how to get the back off so no pics of the works at this time.
