Pretty sweet little ladies enamel from the late 1920's.
Purchased this one from the granddaughter of Wilma, the original owner. Super clean and keeping time as received. An interesting note: the seller never opened it up. When I did, I found a tiny photo of a toddler sandwiched between the movement and case back. Notified the seller and she was thrilled I would and did send it back to her, also sending an enlargement suitable for framing. She believes it might be her father or his older brother.
1928 Gloria - white gold filled with enameled case details and original owner's maiden name initials on back..
Wasn't sure if it was 1929 or 1939 or the case shape. I have seen similar ones to this one, but haven't found the exact one.
I found some ads for one of my enamel inlay Bulova watches - this is the GLORIA.
It is 14K White Gold Filled with black enamel inlay and engraved case.
This is a 14K white gold watch. I think it is Gloria. It is marked 14K GOLD BULOVA on the back and BOLOVA 14K GOLD NEW YORK on the inside of the case. Very interesting lug design. When I saw this in a 1948 ad I was hoping I could find one. Seems to be running well. Thanks.
Hello,
This watch was to my grand-mother of 95 years old who passed away two months ago. I had the courage to open it to have more information! I was affraid to break it!
I guess this is a watch from 1949 refering to the J9? Could anyone confirm it?
I have checked all the pictures on the web site and internet, no luck to find one like mine.
The watch seems to be in Rose Gold. We doubt the bracelet is the original.
Thank you for all information we can receive about this souvenir.

Stamped with 'Bulova 14kt Gold' and '9519345'. Was in perfect working condition, with wind up movement keeping time to the minute until a certain disaster with the washing machine. The watch now ticks up to 3 hours behind by the end of the day. Watch face has gold numbers in large font, and has Bulova written across the top. Gold casing is solid, with few scratches and one dent on the left side. No idea what the movement is like inside as I have not opened it, and I don't have the tools to do so. I am also guessing that the watch is from the 1940's, but would love it if there was someone out there who could shed some light on this.
