Notes: I have owned this watch for years, time to get it into the database. The deterioration of the blue paint around the markers and crosshair is not nearly as obvious in real time as it is in photos. This particular type of aging is common to blue dial watches of this era. I always thought it was the paint’s reaction to radium or tritium, but as far as I can tell this watch isn’t lumed, so I am back to square one on this issue. I think this is a Banker H, but the learned Panel may shed brighter light on the ID.
