Notes: Having looked at every single model in the MyBulova 70s decade, other than the Accutrons, I have a greater appreciation of how much effort the Panelists likely expend to ID these watches. I came up with two close matches: A Sea King “EU”, or the “FL” variant. Everything was in the ballpark, except for the whale. I do believe I have seen Sea Kings before with this omission. I did find a couple models which could have been mistaken for this, but closer inspection suggests that they had slightly more curvature to the case sides. This one verges on being a square with rounded corners. Whatever it is, this is a fun watch. What is not to like…cross hair dial; attractive hand wind movement; nice fit; and appealing shape. The case is deceptively small, due to the shape and cut-in lugs.
Thanks again to the Panel. I am not sure making contributions to the database is equitable for all the time they donate.

Day in and day out you folks have been identifying these, often obscure, timepieces. Just thought maybe a little shout out would be a good addition to your day.
Sea King looks like a good match, nice dial on this one!
1969 Bulova Sea King "EU"
Agree with Sea King "EU". Good looking watch.
The FL variant had a blue dial
