Geoff Baker! Geoff was in town on business last night and stopped by my place for a visit. We watched a ball game and had a few beers. Chatted like two teenage girls. :) Geoff tried to get me to swap my coke watch, but I wouldn't budge. Ok Jerin your next. Come on over I got lots of beer!

So I get back to the hotel from work. I do my routine ending soonest search and with 43 seconds left when it comes up I see this:
Another Ebay buy,this one was advertised as non-working, yet it has not stopped since I gave it a little turn of the crown! It came with it's original inner and outer boxes, along with the watch tag label and guarantee, and a sweet little christmas gift tag! After removing the cruddy Speidel band, I gave the watch an all-over polish with my trusty Cape cod cloth, and Lo and Behold, out came this beauty. The face looks really cool, a sort of "cracqeleur" effect to it's ageing and I can't show this in the pics.

It's so nice to see others enjoy beautiful things. I didn't know there was a whole other world of collectors out there. What all you on line buyers need to remember is to check the .99 cent watch bin at your local thrift store.. So far I got my 38 bulova, a 50 ish gruen and a cabinet tissot clock all in working order.

I just bought these two ads from 1969. We didn't have them and are light on ads from that decade. There were multiple copies for auction/sale, so unless you want the hard copy yourself, we can avoid duplicating efforts/purchases. Don't know why I bought them, I guess because I could....

Found that Goodwill has an auction site and there are some Bulovas on there been watching this site for a few weeks. Might want to check it out. This is the link .
