18kt HGEP (heavy gold electroplate) model. Gold dial.

That is the first 218 series I have really liked.
The HGEP, gold dial, lug style, and dial markings all add up to a pretty striking ensemble. I like it too.

Generic Accutron for now. Very nice looking watch. We have a low res advert showing this watch but it's not ID'd.
It is a sharp looking watch. Agree with 'Accutron' ID, wish we had more on these beauties.
I have this Original Model and will post soon.
Choice was a Brown Leather Band or a Kreisler Mesh with Accutron Signed Clasp Bracelet.
I have seen the Bracelets sell for 300.00 alone without the watch. These 218 Models have a Clean Design without day or date complications making them rare.
I looked for a decade to find a Original with Mesh Bracelet. And then the seller sent the Package to the wrong customer.
I have the ad somewhere but if I remember, this model sold for 150.00 with Leather Band and 195.00 with Mesh Bracelet making the value today at least 10 times more. The box, Display case was the standard of the day Oak Wood Box with the Yellow Felt and tags.
I prefer the slim Accutron Leather Case
I love this gold dial "Clean Design" more than any other Bulova Accutron.
