My fathers watch, has not been worn for 20 years. Not working but hope to get it running and cleaned.

What a beautiful watch your father had. In 1967 when this watch was made it was as state of art watch and super expensive. He seemed to have cherished it and wore it sparingly. The watch is a 1967 Bulova ACCUTRON Calendar with mesh bracelet. I would recommend you have it serviced before trying to have a new battery put in. Service will prevent any damage from running dry and will prolong the live of the watch for years to come.

What a beautiful watch and heirloom from your father. I too think this is an Accutron Calendar. I looked in the line books and found two that were like yours but not an exact match but do believe it is a variant of the Accutron Calendar.

Seems my watch needs repair, battery didn’t do it.
Seems replacement parts can be an issue and need someone who could do repairs, any suggestions would be appreciated
