Watch Description

Picked this watch up on the bay a while ago with the balance assembly taken apart and hairspring distorted. I repaired the watch and did a complete overhaul and service to bring it back up to like new condition. The movement has a M5 date code as well as the back. The case is 10k RGP. The most interesting feature is the fact that the crystal and face are offset in the face, however the movement and hands are centered in the case. I have looked in ads and listings on the database here and on the web and have yet to find one similar. The watch is now in excellent shape, and the photos don't do it justice. I have many more interesting Bulova watches in my collection that I'll be posting on that don't have any listings on the database as of current.

Very nice watch.  I too love the offset look of the watch. Very mid-century.  This is a 1965 Accurist as shown in the 1966 Line book.  We have one other in the database that was just id'd last week.  This one has the original box and bracelet if you would like to see how it originally came. https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1965-accurist-5068?page=1

Thanks so much for the ad and the link to the new addition to the database. I'll definitely be posting the rest of the Bulova watches in my collection soon.

By chance is there a link or pdf file for the line book you're referring to or is it just a hard copy of the book that you have. It looks like a wonderful resource that I'd love to take a look at.
