You identified it correctly, it is the American Eagle 'F' variant. Other one in the database.

I agree 100%. This is a model that was on my BBL (Bulova Bucket List) and I was also recently fortunate to pick one up. One of my personal favorites of the early 60's.
Nobody was bidding on this one,I got it for $12.00.Cost me twice as much for shipping but still worth it in my opinion.
I can't tell if the band is original, slightly different from the ad.
