Wow... So this watch is the first one I've ever gotten my hands one. It looks virtually NOS, to include the bracelet from the ad. It has essentially no wear at all. I believe we have a 1934 Bulova "American Eagle".

Man, that is a beautiful sock drawer survivor! 7 Jewel movement is a curious thing. Dates on case and movement match; I wonder if this was a Bulova cost cutting attempt to keep prices down and make it possible to offer popular watches at a more affordable price during the Depression. We have multiple watches/ watch models from 1929 to the mid 1930's in the database that were higher jewel counts in ads bearing 7J movements.
