Really cool American Eagle here with a two roped strap. Looks great on there and I don't know if it's original or not. It certainly does look like it belongs. Which then of course would make this the American Eagle (who knows) model. Haha....
Looking past the awesome leather strap, the case style and dial is a match for the Bulova American Eagle "E"
1939 Bulova American Eagle "E" looks to be a great match. The strap has the same end piece as the metal bracelet in the ads. The part that holds the spring bar. Seems to be an original end piece at least and likely a Bulova bracelet.
1936 Bulova American Eagle "E" nice clean watch
Wow love the strap!
1936 Bulova American Eagle "E"
Nice one Jerin - 1936 Bulova American Eagle E, love this strap, reminds me of the cord on my grandfather's pocket watch
Ok now I'm thinking that both the E and F are the engraved versions of the A and B
Bulova American Eagle "A" (E would be the engraved version)

Bulova American Eagle "B" (F would be the engraved version)

Here is a good pic from the ad.

Can 'just' make out the engraved sides.
I'm with Stephen, thinking that the "E" is the engraved version of the "A", making subject watch a
1939 American Eagle "A"., and a nice one at that.
Yes per this pricelist "E" is engraved. I would go with "A" as well. Boy I wish this was a complete pricelist. Oh and your strap was on an Ambassador "A" in the same ad.
