This ol American Eagle with the original B/R bracelet is is really superb shape. With the top and bottom ribbed bezel and the original matching braclet, I think we have the American Eagle "B" model.
Jerin, the B model was solid gold, I think we match to the F model, like Bob's

Hrmm.... are we sure Geoff? Look at that ad... it says plainly Bulova American Eagle B... gives a price... and then under shows the price for the 14K solid gold.

Yes the ad is a bit confusing. The pricelist clears it up, "B" is fluted 10K GF and "H" is fluted 14K.

The American Eagle "F" looks to have engraved sides.

Think I have to agree with Jerin on this one, but will go searching for another advert all the same,
Found another one that Kathy found for the "F"...still looks like it's the engraved version. You can somewhat see the engraved sides.

Oh good the ad above that Stephen found confirms "F" is engraved. Per the pricelist and the ads I would go with "B" for this one.

Excellent price list comparison
So the sold gold version of the subject watch (fluted) is the "H"....nice
