14K Accutron. I would like to have a bit more information and a re-sale value, though I love it!
Glass and bezel in excellent condition. I believe it was made in November 1960, and I was drawn to it because of the subtle 'shield' bezel shape and the lack of a crown. Keeps time and all works okay.
As per the sites Terms and conditions we don't evaluate watches on myBulova.com
That said, you have a beauty of a watch and one sort after, as it's the first year of production and in an asymmetric case, Oh and solid gold to boot!
Frankly a bucket list watch IMO.
Here is an origional advert for it https://mybulova.com/sites/default/files/vintage_ads/Bulova_AD_1960_8.j…
I'm looking through the Accutron reference book for the exact details.

Thank you!
It is my first vintage watch purchase - I enjoy my modern pieces from Longines, Ebel and Apple (!) but this just caught my eye and there is such subtle and elegant design. Thank you for your comments and the ad in your other post!

It was just in the window of a local jeweller here in England that has some 'pre-loved' pieces so I probably got a bit of a bargain - though anything is worth only what someone is prepared to pay! There are more 'valuable' watches that frankly I wouldn't pay anything for!
What a great first vintage watch buy, congrats!! It is a beautiful model, you did well.

Have confirmed that this case style was called the "Aplha' .
541 is that offical Accutron model number, so Accutron "541" would be correct.
1960 Bulova Accutron 541 looks to be a good match.
