Very nice watch. I love these thin models. It appears to be 1959 Bulova SVP V based on this 1960 Line book BAWD0139 page 25.

Yes it did change names in 1962. I guess SVP was not a marketable as Surf King. The new name definitely appealed to a young demographic and aligned with the waterproof case.

I thought it was Senior Vice President but it stood for Style Value Performance as shown in this 1961 ad shot.
