From above, this case looks identical to the Ruxton. The other ‘59 SVP “III” notes the Ruxton crystal fits the case. I confirmed that. The crystal is missing from this watch so I pulled the crystal from my ‘50 Ruxton “A” and put it in this case to take the picture and it’s a perfect fit. The Ruxton is thicker when viewed from the side and the case back has more of a curve. But the likeness is unmistakable.

good comparison; it looks like the Ruxton case is thicker, along with that curved back. This case design had a long run, well into the 60s as the Minuteman.

I made some other comparisons. The Ruxton is 9/16 between the lugs while the SVP is 5/8. There are minor differences in length and with as well. The SVP is wider but shorter than the Ruxton. The ‘57 Broker is also similar in design but still distinguishable by an observant eye.
