Bulova 23 jewel His Excellency with dial and hand modifications due to careless watch repair person. Watch given to me upon high school graduation in 1962. Kept ever since. Original crystal shattered in 1963 and replaced then with acrylic. Current crystal is mineral. Restored in 2020 by Dave Berghof at The Last Windup in Bozeman, MT. Watch is running with strong amplitude. Case is 10KT RGP gold. Brown lizard band. Fancy lugs are characteristic of this year.
I believe this is a His Excellency "CW" from the 1958/59 linebbok

1959 Bulova His Excellency "CW"
Nice linebook match Kathy.
Other than the hands, I'd say it's a match for the Bulova His Excellency "CW" as well
1959 Bulova His Excellency CW is a good match
Agree with HE "CW"
Can anyone tell me what the "CW" stands for?
Bulova His Excellency "CW"
The "CW" doesn't really stand for anything except the model progression from one variant to another for identification.
