Here is a first for the database. It is the 1957 version of the American Eagle. It's an absolutely gorgeous angular design. The case is 10KT rolled gold plate with the same plated case back and an L7 date code. The dial is tarnished but was two tone with raised yellow gold hour markers on the even hours and pyramid dots on the odd hours. The movement is a 21J 8AC with an L5 date code. The best part is the original ab fab leather/gold plated combo bracelet. I can't wait to service this one and I think I will give the Tarnx trick a try on the dial. Found the model match in the 1957 Line Book.
Very nice example...American Eagle
Wow - that is COOL. The band totally makes it. 1957 Bulova American eagle. I want it......
Looks like you'll be able to use your watch as a cheese grater as well as being able to tell the time.
1957 Bulova Amerian Eagle. Nice to see them all original.

...and I thought I was the weird one here.
Wow, that's a cool one. Never seen one before, and on the original band! Congrats!

That is really sharp looking JimDon. First one I've ever seen. I really, really like it. Please don't put TarneX on that dial. You're going to destroy it. You can get by using it on older dials from the 30's if you're going to unload the watch on someone else real soon. That stuff seems to keep working forever even after you rinse it off and gradually turns the older dials black. It will immediately take the paint off newer dials before you can blink an eye.

Actually the patina on the dial is growing on my. I won't be touching it.
