Purchased at a garage sale - 1951 Her Excellency "CC" Excellent running condition and quite accurate. Movement and case back both marked L1. The unattached band came with it. Woman said watch belonged to her Mother, and loose band was the original "that bothered her wrist", so she replaced it and kept it as a spare, just in case. We all know how family memories blur and change over time, but ad seems to say it could be so.
The 1951 Excellencys, Mr. LL and Mrs. CC (His and Her to their friends) have graciously agreed to pose for a photo on their 67th anniversary. Isn't it amazing how much they have grown to look alike over the years....

Some marriages were meant to last :-)
1951 Bulova Her Excellency 'CC' it is for me too.
Her Exc CC, I'd say the extra band is the original one.
