This watch is white gold and has a double diamond band going all the way around the band with a safety chain on the back of it. The back of the watch reads 14 K Gold with Bulova underneath. The numbers appear on the back at the opposite end .
I have no idea on this watch and just put 1940 as the date.
Your help here is greatly appreciated.
Any details on the back or inside case cover?
On the back is written 14 K Gold and Bulova underneath it. On the opposite side is written 8515476.
When I called Bulova, they said that the vintage watches didn't necessarily have the letter and number on it.
Other than that - I can't see anything. I did take it to a jeweler who tested the diamonds and they are all real.
Does anyone else know of or have seen a watch like this? Is there something or someplace where I can look for other images? Does anyone know if Bulova ever made one of a kind watches?

I believe your watch is a 1948 Her Excellency "V" per the serial # on the case.
