Hi Guys, hopefully this one will be easier that others I have posted. I think this to be a 1949 His Excellency xx. I found this one at what is now going to be my favorite antique shop for $49.00. It is fully functional in the over 34 hours I had it on the original wind and is keeping perfect time. It appears to have been recently serviced, the keyless works is smooth and after a little clean up I think this is going to be my daily driver for awhile. The case denotes 10k gold filled and A9 stamp. I'm not sure if this is the original band but it cleaned up well and looks sharp I think. Yes, good call on the id, it is the His Excellency 'XX'. The ads show a leather strap would have been on the watch originally, but that band looks good on it!
