These are tough. Looks like 1947 was a transition year so maybe we just need to decide to go with the new name for the transition year or the old? Here is an ad for an Ambassador for 1947. My guess is that it was an Ambassador in the Spring pricelist and changed to HE "GG" in the Fall but that is just speculation. Daily News New York 28 Feb 1947. Maybe for consistency sake go with the newest name.
