Nice 1942 Navigator on what appears to be a mid to late 1930's Gemex double chain clasp bracelet as found. Watch case, face and band near perfect condition and appears to have not been worn very much. Engraving extends all the way to the lug tips and is sharp with no wear.
Just purchased at online auction for $23.52. Apparently no one found it except me as it was (gasp) listed as a women's watch. Appears to be keeping near perfect time.
When I bought it, my intention was to remove the band and replace it with one like the ads show. Once it was in my hand, I declded to leave it as is. The ring ends are a great compliment to the lugs.
Top ad dated 1943, below is 1944.

Here is an image of the band from the 1935 Swartchild And Co. Jeweler's Supply catalog.

1942 Navigator, indeed. Great example!

Navigator
Just found this 1945 ad in the short section calling it the Navigator "B"

I'd say that's a match, Bob.
1945 Navigator 'B'.
Panel? Do we add the variant?
