This is Mariquise I believe. She is 14K pink gold, marked Bulova 14K with the serial # on the back and nothing but service marks inside. After getting the Duchess I was hoping to find a Mariquise to round out the trio with Christine. She is even prettier in person than I hoped : )
Agreed 1946 Bulova Marquise
Sweet 1946 Bulova Marquise on a proper band.
That is a very nice example of the Marquise. I like the color of the dial, the lighter shade compliments well with the rose gold. I did not find mention of any variants, nor it coming in white or yellow. Marquise name was around for several decades.

Thank you. I took the extra time to photograph this one a with a DSLR and off camera flash to get the true color. Most of the time I just use my iPhone. Getting a solid rose gold watch was on my wishlist so I was hoping I would love the color and I do : )
Sweet! Agreed 1946 Bulova Marquise
That dial is mint!
The watch looks like it was never worn, maybe NOS?

Thank you. Very well taken care of and it has a nice tight dust cover that probably helped keep the dial pristine. I didn't even have to clean the case. Not NOS though as it came on a metal band that I replaced with this vintage cord band like the original.
Well done Kathy, nice addition to the collection. It's amazing how the list of "yeah, I need one of those too" watches never gets smaller. What's next on the list?

Thank you : ) Actually my list is pretty small at the moment. Want to get a birth year watch but haven't found one I love yet. Still have a couple of Her Excellency variants I would like to pick up.
