14K White Gold case ; 20 total diamonds ; 18 x 0.01 ct. diamonds around dial ; 2 x 0.02 ct. diamonds on lugs ; 20=0.22 ct. tw diamonds for case complete ; Case measures 23.4 x 16.4mm including lugs and crown, case width is 14.7mm without crown ; Case is unmarked on the inside so no picture is included ; Case weight including diamonds and crystal but without movement is 3.2 grams ; Movement works and keeps good time ; '6C' movement is not in database, but is listed is some models in database ; watch is very similar to 1956 'Petite' (without 'La') ad 1950's-p3-ad34 EXCEPT the 1956 ad shows 24 diamonds around dial, mine has 18. Mine is also close to 1955 'Marquise' ad from 1950's-p2-ad28 with 18 diamonds around dial BUT no lug diamonds.
Very nice looking watch. I think we are looking at the Marquise 'B' variant. Here is a 1958 ad showing the model and variant (second from bottom), this variant is also listed in the 1955 pricelist:
Nice watch, Marquise "B"
Agree! Excellent sleuthing! I did not see that ad in the database, but I do see it now in the forum thread.
Gee, ladies watches were more expensive than most mens,
I concur with the above ID.
Lovely watch, it's wonderful!
Marquise B
