The second image in root record doesn't work.  It was of the movement, and would confirm the jewel count for subject watch.

Brigadier case, possibly? With an older movt? The 8AE could be either 17 or 21j.

Bobbee and all.  Was is Douglas 1945 and earlier, then Brigadier after that?  I gotta look.

Ads from 1948 for Brigadier as on page one of this thread. Pre that date is Douglas (so far).

Shouldn’t this be reevaluated? The first Brigadier ad wasn’t until 1948 and that was yellow gold. This is rose gold and 1945. There’s never been proof that any were made with a black dial. This appears to be a Douglas “A” with a redial to black.

Is there something I did not consider?
