1938 'MONTGOMERY'
Shield date code- 1939. Good-looking watch, Mark.
ha! - Good catch bobbee, My bad. Ya, I'd leave the Dial alone if it weren't for the circular 'scrape' around the pinion. 1939.
I agree with "Montgomery". It's a very comfortable model to wear, slightly curved to fit the wrist.
Dial isn't that bad Mark, gives it some character.
1939 Montgomery from me too. The circular scrape on the dial.... I got a charcoal dialed watch a couple years ago and upon arrival, it looks like the seller (or someone before him) had actually taken a black sharpie and just "colored in" the scrape. I'd much rather have the scrape than the sharpie repair. Nice watch! Is the case 10K Gold Filled?

Cool looking strap, betcha don't see many!
Confirmed Montgomery if ever I saw one. Very nice Mark and typical of all of your magnificent watches. Are you going to try to find or have a strap built for it??
Montgomery for me too. I did see a band like this one awhile ago, on a different watch. Leather with round leather 'laces'...
i wonder where you can even find bands like that now..especially in sixteen mm...i doubt you could even find nos
