Picked up this 1926 Trojan pre-serviced on eBay from a Canadian seller for a pretty good price. Don't really like how the crown is a different tone of gold and I will likely have it replaced later, but the watch looks and works well. Hands seem to have been replaced but are very similar to the ones seen on the advert

I am. It's my belief that the 10AP did not extend into 1929. There was also the 10AL, 10AR, 10AM and a few others, but my money would certainly be on a 10AN.
Your reference watch has a 1927 movement, which again coincides with my understanding of the 10AP date range 1925-1927
I think the knee jerk reaction is to assume a movement replacement, I'm not so sure. Some quirky things happen with Bulova Watches in 1929 and 1930.
Could Bulova have been using up some old inventory before the turn of the Decade? It's possible.
