The history that I know of is that it came from a business that closed in the 1990's when the owner retired. I have attached my photos. For some unknown reason to me at least, the front picture is sideways and I can not turn it?
Thank you.
Hi RJR and welcome to mybulova. I added 2 of your photos from your initial forum question to assist others in identification. Your watch is a beauty and appears by s/n and movement date code to be a 1928 Conqueror,
Here is an ad from 1928

Yours has a face configuration I haven't seen before. Most have a radium dial with skeleton radium hands. Yours has what we refer to as a "dress dial" with raised numerals.. Many models offered a dress dial but they seem to have been less advertised. It is a fine example of the time period, congrats!
1928 Bulova Conqueror
$28.50 in 1928 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $430.00 in 2020.
Wow, thank you very much for this. It is much appreciated. Does anyone know what I should expect to pay for a full service on this watch?

Full service can vary widely based on geography, where do you live?

East of Toronto, Ontario.
This dial variant I've not seen before on 1928 watch, usually appears on early 30s models.

Yeah I recalled having a 1928 Banker with that Linen type dial... here it is:
Yes, I too suspect a possible dial replacement. Can you confirm, is the case white gold?

Certainly looks yellow to me. Are you seeing white gold case?

Yellow gold case.

Wow, it looked white to me with reflection from the surface it lays on. That bit of info places me on the teetering edge of Unknown, unless there is a known ad offering a choice of gold color for the Conqueror.
