Believe this to be an Apollo model from 1929. This is the watch that started me off searching and trying to collect old mechanical watches. Amazing how well it keeps time still. Dust guard doing a great job. Wondering if this is common among Bulova's. First post so I apologize if anything isn't up to snuff.

You can see the information relating to the Dust Cover here: https://mybulova.com/bulova_information under the section The Greatest Watch Improvement in a Century (1927)
Bulova primarily used this protector from 1924 to about 1930, with three varying patents; June 10 1924, Jan 11 1927 and Jan 28 1930. From what we know, they were the only company to do so at the time, maybe ever.
We mainly see the 1924 and 1927 styles on most watches from this period.
A 1929 Bulova Apollo would seem correct and a good match for the other examples we have on site.

Thanks everyone for the help and the welcome. I have another one on the way that I will need some help on because it seems a little harder to narrow down than this Apollo. Also thanks for the info on the dust cover. My my repairman who works in a vintage/estate jewelers here in Charleston, hadn't run into a dust cover like that on that old of a watch. Now I'll have some info to give him this time around.
