Watch Description

This is very similar to the Richard with the exception that the top and bottom engraving has continuous wheat engraving as opposed to the Richards two Omega symbols at both top and bottom.  The case is hinged and unmarked for metal content in a white metal with a yellow band running the full length of the case on each side of the crystal .

Possibly a later version of the Edwin.

The Edwin, from the clearer 1929 ad below:

FYI- The two ads w/ the Edwin are possibly the the exact same ad, with one year being the correct ad date, and the second year being entered incorrectly in the ad DB.  While we can't see the publication date, the ads are identical, and both ads were ran on the same page of publication (page 155 in upper right corner).  See

If so, now to determine which year the ad ran?

It may be an Edwin case but the dial doesn't look as if it is original to the case. Notice how the case encroaches on the 2 3 4 and 8 9 10. Also, the shape of the minute and seconds tracks look more squat as if it were for a slightly wider and shorter bezel.

EDIT - Of course, as soon as I sent the above comment and looked at the ad I noticed that the Edwin case appears wider in the middle than the subject watch.

Daca, can you provide crystal measurements to the tenth of a mm? Thanks.

I will try to get the measurements in the next day or so.

unfortunately the 'EDWIN' does not show the Case horizontal engraving as on Dacas' example.

The APOLLO, 1932 ad from Lisa.

I remember someone once saying, what has she done for this site? Remember that fifth?

Still in unknown, should be Apollo.
