Watch Description

It says "Bulova" on the dial and movement and it's in a round American Standard case and it's running. That's about all I know about it. There's no date code on the movement.

I thought maybe I'd seen the same. 

There has to be a significance, but what is it.

Could it have something to do with Joseph and Adre moving the company away from 'J.Bulova Co.' branding which used the globe as it's logo and towards the shield which looked to seperated the casing company (American Standard Watch Case Co) with that of the relatively newly formed 'Bulova Watch Company"? Timing is about right.

Anything from this period, prior to either an advertised model number or name was either a Rubaiyat or Lady Maxim. We know of no other name (well other than American Maid) that existed.

1920 Bulova Lady Maxim still for me.
