This watch was my grandmother's. She gave it to me when I was a little girl. It has been sitting in my closet for years and I just came across it again by accident. I was able to find out, by the code on the back, that it was manufactured in 1951. Other than that I know know nothing about it.

Can anyone please assist me in finding out the model and year of this Bulova watch?
It had belonged to my great grandfather. The back reads 8-10K Gold Filled. The band is not original. As you can see the face is black with gold numbers and hands. The numbers are not raised. The watch can be viewd at: http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1940-other-589
Thank You
I found this watch in my jewelry box and I think it belonged to my grandmother. It has a round face, with raised numbers, and is the old fashion wind up type. From what I can see on the back of the watch, there is what looks like A9 below the name, and directly below at the bottom is 673347. I am not sure if that is the model number or what it is. If some one can help me by telling me what year it was made and what kind of watch it is, I would be greatful.
