this watch was given to me by my father 25 years ago. were would the movent model movement serial # be? i dont find a movement sybol on the outside either. can any one tell me about this watch? thanks

Do ya think this could have been an AA in another life, say eight or nine years earlier?
Jewel count is incorrect on this one, however I do think We see several Watches Dated 1953 and beyond which were originally intended to be a part of the 'AA' Series, 'MARLBORO', 'WARWICK' are 2 which come immediately to mind.
Maybe a few years before it could have had a different movement, just looking at the open minutes and seconds tracks, similar to AA's.
I really like those 'crab claw' like lugs, quite a handsome watch.
