Hi, guys -

I have a 1963 Ladies Bulova with the words Movement Rebuilt on the dial.  Is it still a valid Bulova, or one that can be used as part of the database here?  I would assume that the rebuilding of the movement would throw a wrench into the dating process, but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!). 

Also, why proclaim it has a rebuilt movement right on the dial?  Fraud prevention?  Or maybe it was part of a Bulova watchmaker's class? 

   i would like to know if any of the members prefer one watch oil over another. i usually get my watch supplies from a company called cas-ker and there are so many kinds. has someone a suggestion? thank you

I'm looking for a spacer ring for a 8AH, 8BA or any 8.25"'x9.25"' ligne movement. It only needs to be thick enough to fit a case the next size up. Attached is an example.

Lets discuss the pros and cons of site moderators.  Until the time that new site "ownership" is determined, a moderator or group of moderators could help with some of the "mechanics" of site administration, among other things.  This could free up current admin from some of the nuts and bolts stuff he has passionately been taking upon himself to date.  I believe his effectiveness to do some of these things has been compromised by recent comments and misunderstandings. - not by his lack of ability, nor any decision he has made (or not made).

It says it is self winding and the dial is divided into four pie shaped pieces.

When I go to search myBulova Watches, I get a screen like below, without any way to complete search.  Logged on and off several times and still happening.  Anyone else experiencing this?
