My 1968 Bulova spaceview watch. Unfortunately I cannot open it and was wondering if you could give me more information on it. I'm not sure if the dials are correct or repainted, and unsure if it's a frankenstein watch. Probably model "G"? In any case it's my favourite watch to wear and I love it :D
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks in advance.
It looks right to me. In yellow with gold filled case it would be the "I". Great watch!

Thanks for your comment and ad picture. Comparing it to the picture though, i see a pretty big difference with the internals on the right side (next to the 3 hour mark).

Hopefully some of our Accutron Spaceview experts will comment for you. Not my area of expertise I'm afraid.
1968 Bulova Spaceview "I" looks to be a good match. As for the capacitor arrangement I am not sure that makes much of a difference. I have not heard about any changes in production but it could possible be a later repair. It does not change the basic model variant classification of the watch.
I agree with Jim and Kathy - 1968 Bulova Accutron Spaceview I. No concern with the missing capacitor, that does not change the ID of the watch.
