I inherited my Grandmothers watch.  I am looking for someone to restore it.  I live in the Denver, CO area.  If there is someone that can recommend where to take it, I would really appreciate it.  It has tremendous sentimental value and I’m afraid to just take it anywhere.  It is missing the safety chain.

1957 Bulova American Girl EE is a good match - HERE is Kathy's. Finding a chain will be a challenge but in terms of 'restoration' what do you have in mind? A good clean, oil & adjust should keep this girl running nicely.

Well, I’m not sure that it’s working.  That’s the problem.  Otherwise, yes a good clean, oil and adjust.  I know that my Mom took it to a Local jeweler at one time and they told her she needed a specialized person to look at it. They didn’t want to touch it.  We have been looking for years.  I recently stimbled upon this site and finally tracked down the model! Yay!  I’m hoping you can all help with your specialized knowledge. ThNks for the info
