Hello! I purchased this watch from an antique shop without knowing much about it. I took the watch apart and I think it's from 1945, but I can't find what model based on what's already on this website. I also can't find a relevant advertisement. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?

Thanks for posting your watch! Based on movement date code and case s/n, it is indeed a 1945. I've come back to this one several times, and come up empty on a name.

I had to go back ot 1943 but found a match to the American Girl. Shows two available variants yellow and pink. I would say 1945 Bulova American Girl A

This movement is the 5AB not the 3AB.
