Dear all, this is my rose gold Bulova President. It has like many other Bulovas on the site two date markings: the 1944 circle is overstamped by the 1945 triangle. The dial and watch are quite worn, sadly. To me, the watch is beautiful, though. I bought it during my college years in the nineteen nineties in the US, now I am back in Germany. I collect vintage wrist and pocket watches of several brands (104 watches at the moment). Best wishes!
I haven't seen this model with that dial (or in rose gold for that matter), which may be the solid pink gold variant. President as seen in this 1946 ad, which depicts the yellow gold version, noting it's also available in pink.
It is interesting that the movement is date stamped 1944/1945; as the case serial number would indicate 1944.
Thanks for sharing, that is a real beauty. I like it a lot.

Thank you. It might be interesting to know that the replacement dial was attached to a movement with the exact same date combination as the original dial of this design (triangle over circle); my watchmaker gave it to me for spares. So, it definitely is a 44/45 production.
What I especially like is the identical pink gold trimming of the dial which matches the color of the case - I will try to replace my first pic with one more showing the pink.
In reply to ouch, that's sad. Would you… by timetravel
