Was that watch a vintage Bulova watch? If so, please share a photo showing what watch you decided to give some much precious 'wrist time' today.
I've always wanted to start this forum topic just to see what people wear.
I'll start out by showing my 1929 Bulova Watertite, recently repaired with a new balance wheel. I've even put a new waterproof gasket on the case....although I'm not sure if I dare go for a swim.
Oops!! I cheated today and wore a Tag Heuer Carrera Caliber 1 that I bought recently......sorry Mr. Bulova
PS - that is a killer watch Stephen, looks like the new movement helped? I think that is one of the all time best Bulovas EVER!
Fun idea, Stephen! I start each day by choosing my watch. My OCD desire is to have enough watches in my collection to wear a different one every day for a year if I so desire.....I'm getting there. Today, it's a 1942 Arnold on the original band. The "broken" seconds track between the 10 and 11 is some sort of weird crystal distortion.

Today, I picked out my 1960 Princeton "B". I haven't worn it in a while, and it matched the cloudy weather this morning.
Also, that is a really cool watertite! I might have to wear my '45 watertite tomorrow.

Today I chose my 1976 Bulova Oceanographer....a little beat up cosmetically, but the inside is pristine after being fully serviced.
These ones are hard to find....I'm still looking for an original divers bezel to replace my temporary one.
Watch of the day is one I have yet to add to the database. 1945...looks like a Clipper with a white face. I've had it about a year and still don't know what it is.....

Well I had to get out and wear my American Girl "K" today after seeing one like it on a new Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit.
As you know, I'm more of a mechanical fan, but lately I have been wearing this 1976 RR Accutron.

Sweet watch Reverend, my wife (the nurse) wore that model for years. You really need to find a "zero" dial as it was made exclusively for the CN Railroad.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that, I hadn't heard of such a thing, thanks Geoff.
On these 214s, it is interestingly important to use the right gasket on the case back. Too thin means that the setting mechanism will not function properly. Too thick is also problematic, and I was lucky enough to find a couple NOS Accutron gaskets. My expertise on these is very limited, this one didn't need much in the way of work, and keeps very good time, it might be gaining a couple of seconds a day, I'm going to time it for a week or two and see. My reference will be the Bulova Moon watch, which is very accurate as we know.

Well Rob, the Legacy model they've made, is the "Canadian" Dial version, as you know it's a mechanical movement though.

Thanks, Geoff, I appreciate that... The excuse I am getting is the pandemic, although I fail to see how that is a factor. My rep is advising me to check back in 2021, but I will cease to be a dealer in June, so that will be too little too late. I don't know who is making these decisions, but they are mistakes. These are exactly the type of watches that made Bulova famous and sold the best.

This is a great question, many of us have a lot of watches but which ones do we actually wear? Lately I've been wearing one of the white faced Clippers, this one is from 1943 and has different hands and numerals from the one posted earlier. I've been wearing this one during most of the pandemic.

he is kind of the hippie type with shaggy hair and a beard. Not sure if those types of guys have “a look “ that screams out. Hahaha

Just got this one, and was surprised by it's size approx. 33 x 33 mm. Wears quite large for a 60's square model.

I actually wore this yesterday, but got home too late to post it. It was the first time I got to wear it all day.
It is I believe His Excellency AA from 1948, the year I was born. Came in what I think is the original box, but the Bulova insert in the lid has been replaced by a jeweler's name.

I think I see what happened. I actually clicked the Link icon instead of the Image icon. I haven't been on one of these in about 10 years.
Forgive me, it's not a Bulova but I had to share this one. 7 Jewel Evkob Watch Co. (NYC) that I guess dates circa 1936, as the Evkob signed movement has an import code. The company seems to have disappeared circa 1940. Very Frank Lloyd Wright.....Gold plated numbers chapter ring is part of the bezel and under the crystal. Fresh complete COA done this month by previous owner. I couldn't help myself.

This one arrived today. Bought it for $15 free ship, described as "not working. might need a battery, or might not work". Put in a battery and everything works; watch looks like new. Stopwatch, dual time, alarm, 12/24 hr., alarm. Bought as a possible "flip" if it worked. Nah, it's mine.
(T3) 1993 "98C21". That's the number on the dial, no other on case back. I scoured the internet and find no mention of this watch anyplace..... Anybody ever seen one?
