What Bulova watch did you wear today?

Submitted by mybulova_admin on

Did you wake up this morning and think.....hmm what watch will I wear today?

Was that watch a vintage Bulova watch? If so, please share a photo showing what watch you decided to give some much precious 'wrist time' today.

For those interested in the 2025 Bulova Shelby chronograph, it's a true racing chrono with the following features:

  • 6 hand stopwatch:
    • hours
    • minutes
    • seconds
    • 10th of a second
    • 100th of a second
    • 1000th of a second
  • Pusher at the 5 o'clock position switches the center second hand between normal time and chrono time and also activates the stopwatch function
  • When setting the time, the second hand will automatically hack to the 12 o'clock position
  • Pulling the crown out to first position will allow a quick date change. Also using the pushers can adjust the 10th and 100th of a second hand positions.
  • Tachymeter runs down to 50.

It's the perfect watch for timing your blinks.

Nice! I have a real weakness for diamond dials. That is one that isn't represented in the data base. Please consider adding it for revue and addition. There weren't many black dial BBs. The "AU" had a white dial, so if this dial is original, it may be a previously unidentified variant.

I like the diamond dials too. I have the original mesh band. But I wanted a more vintage look so put a band I had on it. Love how it turned out. I cannot get the back off. I can buy a better tool that gives me more leverage and see if that works. I don’t think it’s a redial. It’s more of a charcoal dark grey than black. I’ll post if I can get the back off.

Now that's a great looking watch and I agree that it looks much better on your wrist than on mine.

Have been wearing my 2025 Bulova Shelby Chronograph lately.....yeah yeah I know is has a quartz movement and in brand new, but come on look at this thing, it's amazing!!

With chrono timing down to 1000th of a second, I can now finally time my blinks precisely.

Wearing it today on a new silicon strap that I've swapped out for the original. It's a perfect color match to the dial and very VERY comfortable.

If you're wanting one of these, you need to be quick as I believe Bulova only have a small amount left. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed in it.

Ahhh.  That explains the perfect band alignment. I appreciate the timeless design of the dial. Some of the 70’s designs are … well very 70s.

I've been wearing this one continuously for 6 days and it is off less than a minute over that time, with a reserve over 24 hrs which is quite remarkable for a 101 yr old watch. 1925 Green Gold Executive.
