I think the names on this should be switched around. Brenton should be the rectangular watch. Here's a supporting ad: The_Dayton_Herald_Mon__Jan_3__1938

Wish I could see this one better. Square with engraved sides. Raised (probably gold) numerals.
Ahh both white and yellow gold combined. So probably a white gold case with yellow gold engraved sides.
Possible unknown candidates might be these:
Dials are the earlier style, but might still be a match.

New model. 1939 Perisphere. Designed after the Perisphere at the 1939 New York Worlds Fair. Found a match to this watch in unknown and posted this ad to it.

Two ads with one identifying this as a 1939 Ambassdor. Very different from the other Ambassadors from 1939. Another ad identitifies it correctly as an Officer. Interesting. The Montana Standard (Butte, Silver Bow, Montana, United States of America) · 17 Dec 1939

The Plain Speaker (Hazleton, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States of America) · 29 Nov 1939

The Times (Munster, Indiana, United States of America) · 6 Dec 1939, Wed

Nice find. Jewelwe newspaper advert also help muddle things up. My money is on the Officer.
In reply to Nice find. Jewelwe newspaper by mybulova_admin
i just noticed the ad calling it Ambassador says 21j while the others say 17j. Most likely a newspaper error showing the wrong watch.
Muncie Evening Press (Muncie, Indiana, United States of America) · 15 Mar 1929
1929 Unknown (Men's Smart)

Springfield Leader and Press (Springfield, Missouri, United States of America) · 17 Oct 1930 1930 Sky King 17J I don't know what to think of this ad. This is clearly not the usual Sky King. Could this be a 17J version of the Sky King?

In reply to Springfield Leader and Press by JimDon5822
I would submit that the watch in the advert isn't a Bulova, I'm not sure what it says on the dial but it doesn't appear to be Bulova.
In reply to Springfield Leader and Press by JimDon5822
Agreed, would be from another brand as shown on the dial. Interestingly though if the 1927.28 Coner Cut Lone Eagle and Sky King were to ever produce off-spring I suspect it would look exectly like this :-)
Honolulu Star-Bulletin (Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America) · 7 May 1938 1938 Cavalier Ad says yellow gold case unlike two tone in the 1935 ad.

The St. Louis Star and Times (St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri) · 25 Feb 1938 1938 Clipper 1938 Phantom

In reply to The St. Louis Star and Times by JimDon5822
I suspect the Clipper may be a mis-print. It appears to be a pic of an Ambassador. Pretty distinctive case and band.
Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, The Evening News (Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States of America) · 14 Jan 1930
Interstring model name not in the drop down. 1930 Pringne or is it a Princine. Probably a misprint.

In reply to Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, by JimDon5822
It is Princine....
