I am certain the model numbers are not Bulova numbers but for this catalog. But some great ads.

Now these are super cool. Note the Conqueror corner design. We have an example in the data base that matches this styling. The first time we've seen this
I tend to agree that the model numbers aren't Bulova official numbers. For example the above 4628 is listed as 5714S in the May 17, 1927 SEP.

I was stoked when I found them. The numbers are the catalog numbers for this book as you can see the Longines is a consecutive number to the Bulova's. Those ladies diamond watches are awesome.

I know this has been discussed before but I believe we need to consider Bulova Treasure as a model name. See this 1928 ad. I originally thought this was a Lafayette misprint but the lugs on the ad are definitely not molded into the bezel.

What everyones take on these adverts from 1923? I'm not sure what they are referring to for the 'Old' model. Keeping in mind this is a March 20, 1923.

In the first ad, does the tag beside the Ladies watch state 'Wadsworth case' ?

August 1926 presentation of a Bulova Conqueror to Lt Commander Byrd and Floyd Bennett.
This confirms other reports that the one of the watches given to Charles Lindbergh was indeed a Conqueror. Previously the model name was never mentioned, only that it was the same watch given to Byrd.
Further connection to the text ....."The Conqueror" and it was there-fitting that they be presented to the two gallant Americans who had conquered the top of the world with an aeroplane."

Very, very interesting.
So Byrd was presented with a 1926 (presumably) 'CONQUEROR' , which in turn becomes the 'LONE EAGLE' in 1927 to honour Charles Lindburghs' trans-atlantic crossing May 20–21, 1927.
I own a 1926 'CONQUEROR' so this find gives the watch a little provenance. https://mybulova.com/watches/1926-conqueror-4024 Good stuff.

It was great to find this article last night to finally confirm in writing what has always been believed to be the case and why the Conqueror model was choosen to be re-badged as the Lone Eagle.
Interesting ad from 1922 actually naming the case manufacturer Wadsworth.
