I'm not having any success finding a match for this one.  Eyes are tired from looking at ads.

Has same shape and lugs to the "Cadet" / D / C , but those pre-date 1953.  Clearly not the same.

Any thoughts appreciated.  Thanks!

Antimagnetic Wind-Up Watch Bulova

Submitted by Jim Townsend on

Does anyone know what year was the first year Bulova started putting antimagnetic on the dial? I have a Bulova on its way that has this above the six on the dial and Bulova in its normal spot under the 12. Thing is i dont know what movement it has as i never got a shot of the inside movement.

1943 5AB 17J Possible Cleoparta?

Submitted by stoddrob on

Anybody have an idea on this watch? Looks like a "Cleopatra" which Ad says is designed like a picture frame but photo on ad is hard to see. Nice looking ladies watch! 17J 5AB with an X date code on movement. with 10k RGP case and original strap - all in excellent condition. One small scratch on original dial. I added NOS 5AB BM10 hands to make it easier to see the time on this small watch....but I have NOS 5AB GM10 ones too if it needs to be exact!
