Buy em up boys! I'm seeing some really quality Bulova's going for next to nothing! Seems like the prices are in the dirt right now. Perfect time to buy a pile of old Bullys and wait for it to come back. That way you'll have the inventory to liquidate when it's back up to buy your high quality pieces you've been after! =)
So. The last month or so I haven't felt like grabbing my actual camera out of the old case, messing with the SD card, transferring and what not.
So guess what I experimented with about a month ago? As well as have been using ever since as I don't think my photo quality has deteriorated at all.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone. Yup... no lies. The below pictures were taken with my cell phone in my light tent. Then I just go to my computer, upload them with my cord, do a little cropping, and wallah!

Here is an extremely rare piece, the Bulova Mil-Ships-W-2181. This watch was an experimental design that never actually went into production, other than the handful (supposedly around half a dozen at first) of original test pieces sent to the military for testing in the field.
After the military passed on the production of this model, the test subjects were given to divers in the Navy for regular use.

I recently watched an excellent Webinar hosted by the NAWCC guest wrist watch curator, Adam R. Harris.
In that Webinar, among the many interesting and unusual watches, this one especially caught my eye, and my full attention.
Did we ever find a name for this guy? The Woody 2? Same year as my "Woody", I think we have an ad but it's just a number. I'm hoping all it needs is a new battery, crystal, and a cleaning. Love that matching Dutchess Bracelet though.
Looks to be a 1939 Buckingham.. possibly NOS?
Looking at that original bracelet and inner box looking so pristine, it almost looks like it.

I guess we'll see, but looks to be an AA T and a couple cool little ladies bullies. :)
I love finding deals. Somewhat suspect of the AA's condition though.
I'm hoping the experts here can help me identify this Bulova that my grandfather left behind after passing away last year.
