Military style Bulova watch

Submitted by el tel on

Just purchased this on ebay  and awaiting delivery , it was referred to as a military style watch , has bulova markings on back of watch and a bulova strap. Model number 96G53 with a japanese MIYOTA movement. Did not pay very much for it so not too concerned if it is not genuine.  Any comments ?

I'm still out of state but had the wife be a dear and took some cell phone pics of that ad...

This one piece of paper explains so much!!!

WOW... can of worms on that LE-V... shows the "Engineer".  Uhhh...

The "Jefferson" - Sweet two-tone rose gold and white gold?  Sweeeet.

The "Galahad" - Sweet... I have that one!  Essentially an Attorney with scrolling on the sides.

The 17 Jewel "Broadcaster" confirmed!

There's my 21 Jewel beacon wannabe! The "Westchester" !!

Vintage Bulova adverts

You may have noticed some wonderful vintage Bulova ads showing up on the site over the last few months. Whilst many of these are sourced by loyal members of myBulova, many others are purchased through the kind donations myBulova recieves from its members.

I'd like to remind all that if you have a spare few dollars you can donate to the site it will be greatfully accepted and guaranteed to be put to the purchase of more high res vintage adverts that everyone can enjoy and benefit from.

Two recent additions include:

Bulova Chrono's

The hammer fell on 2 nice Bulova Chronographs Yesterday, when the dust cleared.....

WWII'ish 2 register Chronograph. Sweet! - $600.00 U.S.

Early 1950's Single button. Restored - $725.00 U.S.

I wanted the 2 register but needless to say neither made it to My collection.

Maybe next time.
