Great mid century block watch.   By this time Bulova was not naming watches.   I would classify this as a 1979 Bulova Day and Date.

I've looked long and hard for a match but could not find anything close and nothing worthy of even a suggested model name.

We currently don't have a model name for a generic Bulova Day and Date, but I wonder if we should add one.

I believe that it would be correctly classified as 1979 Bulova Date and Day

I think the problem with Date and Day as a classification is that we have only used it as a vaiant, we would still have to classify as Unknown with the variant set to Date and Day. In the end it would still be Unknown model. Maybe se. call it "Model" -- "Date and Day"?

Agree, unknown seems the best ID at the moment. I'm not sure ID'ing as a general Date and Day would be helpful.
