Watch Description

Tuning fork shaped case with the 2242 accuquartz movement. Like the 214 Spaceview it was produced to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Bulova but it seems to be (even) rarer as I've only ever seen one other one (gold plated) and it had a replacement 2182F movement. It's possible it could be a so-called "Swiss" Bulova. I've also seen a ladies' version with the same dial and the 230 movement.

The mineral crystal on mine has a couple of scratches so if anyone knows where to source a replacement one I'm all ears (case reference : 7579).

Thanks !

Actually the movement has 13 jewels but that choice was not available in the drop down list if someone can fix that?

I am sure Admin can fix it...Accuquartz "Centenary"  and a nice "Original" example to the database.

Hi, please could you update your description as I had the original movement put back into my Bulova 1975 Accuquartz Centanial. It is now back to its original state when my Father bought it
regards

I realise this is a tad late a reply, but if you're still looking for a replacement crystal here's an ebay seller who has them(with new gasket) for your case. Now it's for the Spaceview version so has the printing on the glass, but I'm sure that could be easily polished off.

Hope this helps.
