I bought the watch in 2024 in good condition and functional. The battery it works with is an Energizer 394 in a plastic reduction, without a voltage regulating diode. Most likely they are modified for a higher voltage. The case has M6 year of manufacture but the movement has N4. The movement 214 has hack and fork signing D. Please, if anyone can help with identification and originality. The watch runs fantastically, the deviation is minimal, the movement of the second hand is absolutely smooth.
Thank you or posting your watch. Based on the M6 date code this is a 1966 Bulova Spaceview with a what appears to be a movement swap. I believe this to be a Spaceview "B" like this one https://mybulova.com/watches/1962-accutron-spaceview-b-8333
I agree with Jim, the watch case was made in 1966 and the original 214 has been swapped out for a later 1974 movement.
I would also say that this watch wasn't a factory Spaceview, but has been converted at a later date.
However as it contains all the correct parts we can indeed ID as a Spaceview, noting the later movement replacement.

Can I ask how you determined that the '2446 2/6' was the crystal reference?
Agree that it's been converted but I am agreeable to tagging this one as 1968 Bulova Accutron Spaceview having noted a movement swap.
Agreed
